Meditation is well known for it’s amazing ability to calm the mind and to help mental focus. Yet, it is also a powerful tool for physical and emotional healing, as well as opening us to the possibility of spiritual awakening and realization. We will look at how meditation practice evolves with intermediate and advanced practitioners into an ongoing process which infuses the way we live our lives in a more harmonious and meaningful way.
Andrew Barker has studied and practiced meditation for most of his adult life, participating in Zen and Tibetan Buddhist meditation groups, as well as Hindu spiritual practices. A series of awakening experiences has revealed underlying essence of all spiritual teachings, and that this path of knowledge is available to each of us in this present moment, right here and now.
